How to beat the sun this summer with your pet?

During summers, pets prefer lazing on cool surfaces like tiled floor, bathroom or under the fan. Avoid heat stroke in pets by reserving early morning or evening for outdoor sessions. Take your pet before or after the sun is at its prime as the air during these times is much cooler for them to breath. Less sun heat also makes the ground cooler to walk on for pets.

If you happen to get stuck outside in the heat with your pet, make sure to take shelter under a shady place. Direct sunlight is harmful to both humans and animals. The extreme heat will make the ground hot and unbearable to walk on for pets. Hot ground, road or sand can burn your pet’s paws. To avoid such experiences, try to keep your pet as much inside as possible.
